Assistant to the Director of Manufacturing

Position Summary

Assists in the day-to-day tasks of the manufacturing/fabrication division.

Essential Functions

  • Job Entry
  • Schedule review & updating
  • Procurement
  • Customer Service
  • Notes & Various Data Entry
  • Inventory Control
  • Organize Freight

  • Filing
  • Other duties, as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (minimum qualifications)

Minimum 3 years of Office.
  • Includes:
    • Customer Service
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, FileMaker etc.)
    • Phone & E-mail Communication
    • Filing and organizational skills
    • Time Management
    • Inventory Management
    • Shipping and receiving experience
    • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Inventor

Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods of time, walking, typing, talking, looking at computer screen

Work Conditions

Office environment mostly, and in the shop minimally (around noise).
