Position Summary

Project Estimators are responsible for reviewing and evaluating cost estimates for manufactured steel products and/or installations. This is a full-time position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Required Skills

• 3+ years’ experience in steel fabrication estimating
• Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of steel construction and fabrication processes
• Experience with MS Word and Excel
• Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD-related software
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skills
• Organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven
